I always said I wanted to start a blog about my life and all of the crazy things that happen on a day to day basis with me. Well, I did it! I am going to write down my life stories worth remembering and worth sharing.
Back in 2008, when I was going on 2 - 3 blind dates a week, I should have started a blog or wrote a book. I would be rich right now because of all of the hysterical stories and awful dates I went on. I met Eric in early 2009 and my life became a little more settled down and not many interesting things to write about except for how many fights we were in. I am now back to being single and starting to date again....well kind of. I met BJ just three weeks after Eric and I broke up. He really helped me get over Eric but is still not the guy for me. (I caught him lying) I am now on the market and ready to start dating again. As Lauren would say, "Single Suzanne" is back!
I am not in huge need of a boyfriend - I am in need of a husband! Well, I don't NEED one, I just want one. It seems that all of my friends are married and have kids and one by one, the single friends are dropping like flies and getting married too. By the way, Katie got engaged last night. So happy for them but just another one gone.
About me. I am 30 and a college student. I hope to graduate in three weeks. These last couple of weeks are going to kick my a$$ but it is almost over. I am really scared that I am not going to pass one of my classes but i can only do the best that I can and that's it. If I don't pass it, I re-take it in January and do better. I work at Crown Packaging and Sports Cafe. Crown is a temporary job and Sports is just one night a week for some extra cash. I actually like Crown and hope to find a position there in sales. I can't wait to not have to work at Sports anymore. I am too old to be bartending and can't stand the obnoxious drunks and old creeps. I used to run, in fact, I have run two half marathons and a couple of 5k's. I need to get back into it but have been lazy and busy (these are all excuses). I plan to run the Rock and Roll half marathon in Nashville in April and the Chicago full in October. I WILL DO IT! I am currently living with my Mom and moving in with Shannon soon. I am stressing out about who I want to get to help me move because I can't afford movers and I have exhausted my friends from moving so many times. Hopefully I stay there for a while and don't have to do that again...or at least anytime soon. I lost my best friend, Charlie the dog about a month ago. I had to find him a new home because I just didn't really have time for him. He will be missed always. I love him so much but I had to do it. One day I will be a doggie owner again (when I am settled and have time for one).
Dating scene for me now is kind of funny. I hang out with BJ a couple of days a week just for company. I really enjoy to be around him but will never trust him. Lauren set me up with the PE teacher from her school and he came to my Mom's party last night. WEIRD but so fun! I blacked out at the end of the night but my Mom told me that I was all over him. Yep, I was all over him in front of my Mom. Jenny set me up with her friend Zach and we have started texting today. We will see where both of these go. Let the games begin!!!
